Welcome to WoW 3.0! (submitted by Kimina at 03:09am EST) Hello again! Welcome to Wrath of the Lich King, everyone! With 3.0 here, the officers decided to wipe out all of the DKP and start fresh. I will be wiping the DKP at 5 PM EST on Sunday, Nov 30, 2007. Be sure to check your numbers before then if you wanted to see where you stood! Also, please take note of our new DKP address, located at http://dkp.heresiarchguild.com%20--%20t ... s%20there. If you have any problems or questions please feel free to let me know. Good luck out there! -- Kimi |

Welcome & 10% Decay Info (submitted by Kimina at 03:43am EDT) Welcome to the new DKP site! Hopefully it is just as easy to use as it was before. You will notice nearly everyone in the DKP list currently has some value in the "adjustment" column. This is to bring the new site up-to-speed with our current DKP values. As has been discussed earlier, this value you will decay at a rate of 10% per week until it reaches zero (and is currently 30% decayed, i.e., 3 weeks). This decay will occur on Monday every week. You will see periodic updates from the user "**DecayBot" which will be handled automatically. For now, simply ignore the "Adjusted" column. While it looks like something very strange is going on, it is merely to bring in all of the old data into the new system. Within 10 weeks this value will be 0 (or close to it). All other DKP will follow the normal system. Old items will be refunded and old DKP removed periodically as per the system described on the forums. All of this will be handled automatically by the user "**DecayBot." If you see anything strange going on either by the bot or something else out of whack, please talk to one of the officers or myself (Kimina) so it can be investigated. All of the custom code for this page was written in the course of about 24 hours, so there is likely to be a bug or two. Similarly, please double-check your numbers against the temporary spreadsheet we had been using to ensure all the data was converted properly. Thanks, -- Kimi |
